It is said this find dates back to 305 B.C., or somewhere around there. Holy Crap!
The Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific misspelled the company’s name on one of their planes. CNN’s Jeanne Moos has the story.
CNN has the story of How a Major airline got it’s own name wrong, ON THE SIDE OF A PLANE. Well, spelling isn’t my strong point either and as said, if it’s going to make a mistake, let it be a spelling one on the side of a plane.

HARTFORD, Conn. – A federal judge in Connecticut has dismissed a lawsuit by 60 former professional wrestlers, many of them stars in the 1980s and 1990s, who claimed World Wrestling Entertainment failed to protect them from repeated head trauma including concussions that led to long-term brain damage. U.S.
NBC News has a story from the Pro Wrestling world as the major Concussion lawsuit filed against the WWE has been thrown out. The suit, much like the more famous suit against the NFL, was filed against the WWE but several former wrestlers that claimed the company knew that head injuries and concussions lead the things like CTE and other brain issues down the line, but went forward anyway at the risk of the wrestlers. The suit was tossed out by the judge and questioned the intent by both the wrestlers and conduct of the lawyer involved.
Self-driving cars have quickly moved from a far-out idea to a here-and-now reality. Now one German automaker has built a self-driving motorcycle – one that can start, accelerate, steer and brake to stop, all without a rider. No one is looking to fill the roads with riderless motorcycles.
NBC News also has this look at a motorcycle that can drive itself. The German project is looking to do this to help save lives. Motorcycles aren’t the safest things in the world, Hell DRIVING isn’t the safest thing in the world. But if this project can reduce injuries and deaths, go for it!

After a troubled production and a relatively soft box-office for Solo, rumors began to emerge that the full-steam-ahead Star Wars franchise might take a quick breather. That sort of made sense, given the amount of rods it has in the fire, so to speak: the J.J.
AVClub has a story sure to ruffles some feathers in the Sci Fi world as The Heads of Disney have stated in an interview that they think the Star Wars Franchise is slowing down based on the last couple of movies not being big hits. With the prequel movies about Han Solo and some of the other recent offerings not doing so good I’m not one to say it’s slowing down, but I could find some issues that aren’t helping.
As if Detroit didn’t already have enough problems. Earlier this week, Michigan rock overlord Bob Seger, a guy who probably has more hits than the rest of his Michigan ’70s hard-rock peers combined, announced that he’d launch his final tour.
Stereogum has an article on the announced retirements of both KISS and Bob Seiger. As a hard rock fan and a big fan of what KISS has done over the years, gotta be honest and ask which one I actually believe more in announcing their retirements?
