Welcome Fall with These Mouth-Watering Honey Recipes

Have you noticed that wind is getting cooler while the sun is setting sooner?

Yeah! It’s time to welcome Fall, the season.

Days are becoming shorter, and the temperature is dropping. It’s time to grab your sweatshirts and some hot and sizzling food to make yourself warm.

The season is just upon us, and you might be worried about the dishes you will prepare in this fall.

 Not to worry anymore, whether you love fall or not, I have come up with delicious mouth-watering honey recipes that you will like to enjoy.

No doubt, these recipes will blow your mind and quench your hunger thrust.

What? Why honey recipes? I can see this question popping in your mind.

The answer is honey is high in fructose, and a little amount of honey can give you pleasant sweetness.

And you will love to know that it is an excellent alternative to sugar.

Whether you prepare desserts or savory dishes, the taste of honey always adds a pinch of moist and freshness in the food.

So, without wasting any time, fasten your belt and get ready to join me in the most delightful and yummy food ride.

Here we go:

  • Honey Cashew Buns


For the bun dough:

1 cup water

1/2teaspoon active dry yeast

2 1/2 cups flour

One 1/4teaspoons salt

1/4 cup olive oil

For the bun filling:

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup honey (Manuka honey)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup water

1/2teaspoon salt

2 cups raw unsalted chopped cashews

2tablespoons ground cinnamon  


To make the dough, combine flour, salt, yeast, water, and oil in a bowl and knead dough till it becomes smooth and has elastic consistency.

Keep the dough for 2-3 hours, till it rises to double its height. 

Meanwhile, take a medium saucepan, add melted butter and whisk in the honey, cream, water, and salt. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool.

Take dough and flatten it into a square shape (approx. 1/4th-inch width and 12-inch length and breadth)

Take a bowl, add butter, cinnamon, and roasted cashews. Spread it all over the dough square. Roll the dough in a way that cashew mixture evenly reached the entire dough.

Use a knife to cut the square-shaped dough into 12 equal bun shaped pieces. You can also store these unbaked buns in the refrigerator for future use.

Take a baking pan, place buns and pour the saucepan mixture over it.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake the buns for around 45 minutes till they become golden brown.

Serve warm.

  • Honey Bites


  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • One tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey (Manuka Honey)
  • One tablespoon rosewater
  • 1/4 tablespoon ground cardamom
  • Oil for frying


  • Take a saucepan, add butter, sugar, water, salt. Let the mixture boil. Stir occasionally. Remove the mixture from heat and add flour. Place the pan over medium heat and constantly stir till it forms a ball of dough.
  • Transfer this dough to a bowl and beat it using an electric mixer. Add eggs and beat again. Allow the dough to rest.
  • Combine honey, rosewater, ground cardamom in a bowl and microwave it for around 30 seconds.
  • Heat oil in a pot, roll dough, cut into 1-inch long pieces and fry till golden brown.
  • Cool down the bites and transfer them to the microwave bowl, toss them to coat.
  • Honey bites are ready to serve.

So, these are the two most delicious honey snacks that you will love to have with tea or coffee.
