Applying at any university can be a stressful task, but many have their own ways and processes. If you are looking at studying in the UK, you need to be aware of some requirements and processes before applying. Studying abroad is an exciting venture and this application should not take away from that. It is simply a matter of readjusting your thinking and making sure that you adhere to all the requirements. Here are some of the important factors you should remember.

English Proficiency

If English is not your first language, you would be required to do a language proficiency test. It might be a good idea to start working on this early as you would need to submit an English language personal statement.


As a student from another country, you probably know that you would need to have a valid passport and Visa to enter the United Kingdom. Other than that, you might be required to provide a copy of your birth certificate. You would also need to provide proof that you can financially support yourself during your studies.
