Subtle details make your writing memorable. It helps you create a stronger impression on the reader. Rather than using general descriptions, choose an instance where you applied a skill, or attribute and write about it.
Avoid bragging; at the same time, don’t be too modest.
Your college essay is a chance for a quick glimpse into who you are. It’s the chance to show the reader how you think and underline what you stand for. Doing all this makes your story more compelling.
