National University features 13 locations throughout San Diego, California with several regional campuses throughout the state.

In Southern Cali, you can take your pick of two amazing worlds. One day you could be hiking or skiing in the mountains, and the next day, you could be kayaking or surfing in the Pacific. Today, the twist is clearly the beach. Check out those waves. National University's spectrum campus in San Diego has won architecture awards. Plus, they have modern campuses with up-to-date technology all students can get their hands on. National University enrolls 25,000 students with about 22,000 fulltimers, and has a student body makeup of 63 percent women to 37 percent men. Graduate students make up about 72 percent of the population versus 28 percent undergrads, while minorities make up 45 percent of the student body. To be accepted in the National University, the recommended GPA is 2.0 or higher. Those that have a GPA below 2.0 still have a shot because National can admit some students on the probationary status if they have the drive and are willing to work hard to keep their GPAs up.

And the admissions process is fairly simple. Students can apply online or else they can come into any center in all of our regions, fill out an application and be serviced by an adviser right away.

According to trends in college pricing, National University's undergraduate tuition is 49 percent lower than the average private 4-year college. All undergraduate students can expect to pay an average annual tuition of about 9700 dollars. And just in case you're wondering, 84 percent of National University students receive some sort of financial assistance. National university offers 100 undergraduate and graduate degrees, plus 16 credential programs.

The education that I'm getting from National University is invaluable. I can't even put a price tag on it.

The master's in digital cinema is run out of the LA campus. They're working with Hollywood directors. We have a full crew, so we have union grips, we have a full set, you know, everything is going full swing. We just had a student who is in the master's of digital cinema residency and he had to leave because he was hired by Tyler Perry to direct "House of Payne" for a season. So, these people are going and doing real things, you know, at the highest level.

In my degree program, it's definitely helped me in the field of business. I'm being able to be able to expand on my business, my personal business, and learn more about it in more in-depth and also get great resources.

So expect a very innate interactive experience, expected experience that's based on real world foundations, and then expect that scholarly component.

National University is a leader on online education, offering over 300 courses via the internet. In fact, the university houses one of the largest eBook collections in higher education. I'm gonna find something good to read.

National is fully staffed, with 230 fulltime faculty members, 87 percent of which hold terminal degrees. The student to faculty ratio is 20 to 1, giving students a great opportunity to connect with their professors.

One of the goals of National University is really to infuse the personality of the professor into the classroom.

Well, the faulty, they're very helpful. We get a lot of one-on-one with the faculty, the staff, our advisers.

The instructors and even the guest speakers that they bring in for the program are topnotch in their industry. We're dealing with executive producers of MBC, Pulitzer Prize winning journalists and authors.

Education? That's right, Ferrari. More teachers come out of National University than any other institution in the state of California. Here, education comes full circle as students learn to take on the role of teacher.

Check this out. According to Diverse, Issues in Higher Education, National University provides minority students with more master's degrees in education than any other college or university in California. They also rank in the top 10 nationally for master's degrees granted to women.

Because we have a large education program, we are partnered with San Diego Unified School District. This definitely provides for a big opportunity for all of our credential students to build relationships, network with the local businesses and school districts in the community.
