I can finally eat normal food again! I just have to be careful! haha! Also, I got my AP government test back today and I got a 93% on it! alt So, its been a pretty good day! I'm also going out to se e the fourth kind with a few of my friends tonight, I'm leaving in just a few moments! Hmm...what else? Update on my relationship status or whatever...yeah...officially like not talking to that guy I was talking to anymore because I found out that he wasn't looking to have a relationship with me--and I know that I'm not ready to be in a relationship seeing as I just got out of one a few months ago. So, I'm officially single...and I love it! It is so much stress gone! haha! Now, I can really focus on school and getting the rest of my applications done! I recently got my first quarter report card which was all A's and one B+ ANNDDDD I got an email from George Mason saying that they got my SAT scores. AH! Everything is finally going great!

Have a great friday!!

My mouth is doing pretty good from having my wisdom teeth taken out but my food choice is still very limited! alt Also, I got into first period and realized that I forgot my homework which sucked a lot! I'll bring it by her room tomorrow morning though and it shouldn't be too big of a deal. I'm starting to work on a bigggg anatomy project that I have to do for class where you "explore" five different medical career fields...its such a huge project! I have to interview five different people in five different medical fields to begin with. The only thing that frustrates me about the project is that they say they do it so that you know what kind of medical professions are out there, because they assume that's why you too anatomy; it's high school..I took anatomy because it seemed interesting...not because I want to be a doctor! haha! Oh welll..
oh yeah! and totally off topic..buttt I just watched Sleeping Beauty for the first time in years! It used to be my favorite when I was little! It made me realize how much I miss the disney classics and how they look so old and not 3-D like the ones now days do and they don't have like 3409324 sing along songs in them! haha! The original disney films are so pretty! alt

So...the good news? This week was only two days long for me. The bad news? The reason I don't have school tomorrow is because I'm getting my wisdom teeth out.alt Yeah, that's just lovely haha! I'm seriously so scared! alt I mean...thankfully, I won't be awake for any of it but when I wake up, my mouth will be bleeding so much and I'll be confused and scared! ahhh! My mom and dad will both be there though and took the whole day off to watch over me once its over. The other thing that sucks about it is that my mouth will swell SO MUCH and I won't really be able to do much for the rest of the weekend...I'll just be sleeping and unable to eat anything except for like soup, jello and pudding...greeeattt alt
WISH ME LUCK!

This weekend was awesome because it was four days long due to teacher work days! I can't believe that the first quarter of school is already over!! Three more to go and then I graduate! alt INSANE! haha! By Saturday and Sunday were a lot of fun because I got to go out shopping with my mom, we got some new clothes for the winter and boots!! I'm so excited to wear them to school tomorrow! :) Then yesterday, I hung out with Ashley and we went to go see Paranormal Activity! We had heard a lot of things about it from friends, from it was really scary to it was really dumb but we wanted to see it so that we could at least have our own opinion..if you know what I mean. It was pretty good...at times it was really scary but knowing that it was fake really bummed out the experience alt

I still liked it though! They made it SEEM really real! haha

I love the Haunted Woods!

This past saturday night was so much fun! My parents, brother, his best friend, and two of my best friends went to Markoffs Haunted Woods! It is literally one of the scariest things I've ever done in my whole life! haha! This was my third year going and every year it's just as scary! On the way there, about 5 minutes away from it you have to take a ferry across a little river and it's really creepy and then when you get there you have to sign a waver saying that you won't sue them if you get hurt or anything. Once you get in, it's like a little carnival type thing that feels like you're in Halloween Town (Disney reference haha). Theres a huge bonfire in the center and then a whole bunch of little things around the outside like getting your face painted, and getting your fortune told. There's also this one thing where you put on a harness, and have to climb this tall rickety telephone poll, stand at the top, and jump to grab this horizontal pole that is a few feet away! haha! my brother and his best friend both did it! I took a video of it to post! Overall, it was a blast! alt

On friday during my last period, which is a seminar, I went to meet with my AP Lit teacher for some help with my essays. I had written up the majority of my essay for University of Maryland but I hadn't finished it up and wanted a 3rd party opinion. So, I went by his room and let him read it over. He gave me a couple pointers but for the most part he thought it sounded great, which was a huge relief because all I had to do was add about one more paragraph and it would be ready to submit! I was completely ready to submit both my University of Maryland and my Geoge Mason applications! Two down!! Six to go! hahaha!

College Portfolio.. Yippey!

I've had a rough past couple of days...nothing bad has necessarily happened they've just been cruddy..so I'm hoping that maybe tomorrow will be the beginning of some good days? That'd be nice! haha! But besides that, I'm about to work on my college personal statements and essays here in a minute. It's frustrating because all the senior English classes in my school do something called a College Portfolio project which is basically just writing a college essay but the teacher makes sure that it's perfect and teaches you how to change it to fit any essay question. The problem? Every english class started this at the beginning year except for my english class..we started it last friday. altThere's no way that will help me at all because I have deadlines coming up on November 1st! Gahh! altOh well..I'm gonna go now and work on my essays!

The new guy

So, a little bit of personal information about me is that I broke up with a boyfriend of a year a couple months ago and it was the hardest thing I've ever been through. It made the beginning of the school year pretty rough but it's all started to get a lot better now! School is seeming a lot less stressful and I met a new boy a few weeks ago that I think I really like... alt I met him at a school football game near the beginning of the season, and we've been talking ever since! He's really sweet and hilarious! He's one of the first guys that I've felt fully comfortable around right off the bat! So, that's one of the most exciting things in my life right now alt But besides that, there's a hypnotist show at my school tonight at 7 that I'm going to with a couple of my best friends, Lindsay and Krista, and that guy I like, Ryan. alt haha! I can't wait because I've missed all of the other times that the hypnotist has been at my school! It's supposed to be really funny and both my friends want to get hypnotized...so if they get chosen it'll be hilarious! I really hope they do!

A Rainy Friday

Finally it's Friday! It just really sucks that it's so rainy because it's the second day in a row where it's just been cloudy, cold and rainy all day straight! But I'm determined to have a good day anyways!! haha! I made cupcakes last night and brought them in my car to give to friends alt ....but I got to school with only barely enough time to get to class (which thankfully was the trailer closest to my car!) so I didn't get to give any cupcakes to anyone..haha..so I'll just give them out afterschool to whoever wants one haha tonight, four of my closest friends and I want to go to a haunted trail, but now were considering maybe not going because the weather is so bad...so now were trying to think of an alternative plan alt lets see..what else is going on? I have a hair appointment tomorrow...and I also have a whole bunch of homework!! I have four assignments for my AP Gov class, two for AP Lit class, and I need to write three of my college essays because I have two deadlines coming up on November 1st!

Ahhh! alt So much! haha! I'm determined not to get stressed though alt

Panarama and Senior Meeting!

On Wednesday, all seniors got to come into school late! Instead of being at the school at 7:30 like usual, we had to be at the school by 9 for Senior Panarama. So, there was no first period or anything, we just all went to the bleachers, sat down, and got the class of 2010 picture taken for the yearbook then we had a big senior meeting! During, all of this, all underclassman were taking PSATs...so by the time the picture was done at 9:30 we had to make our senior meeting last until 11 when the PSAT would be over. During the senior meeting, we had a guy from Jostons (the company that is in charge of all our graduation products) there to talk to us about everything that was for sale for seniors, as well as the process we had to go through in order to get our cap and gown. It's actually really simple, we just have to write down our height and weight so that they can give us the correct size and then we have to confirm it with them in a couple weeks after we've double checked our measurements and are sure we gave them the correct ones. It's all a lot easier then I thought it was going to be! alt By the time we were done going over all the necessary things, we still had about half an hour so we just had a dance off where anyone could go up on the stage..it was really hilarious! The only part that was really unfair, was that we had to go to class that day at all! After senior meeting we had two full classes....we're like the only school in the county that didn't get out early after all of the senior requirments (panarama and meeting). The school that my best friend goes to, West Springfield, got out at 11...that's when we went back to class! It was really unfair and made no sense because one of my teachers told me that early dismissal days were supposed to be county-wide decisions...so I don't know...haha! Oh well...I heard that on days when we get out early, they won't be so that it all evens out in the end alt
