Second Semester Senior

This week hasn't been very bad so far but it does feel like it's lasting forever! As I was getting ready for school this morning I though it was Friday for about half an hour. :( haha! My classes aren't nearly as rushed as I thought they were going to be though, none of my teachers are really freaking out. Senior year, second semester is really relaxed! I never have very much homework, applications are done....it's such a nice feeling! We got our report cards a couple of days ago and I had four A-'s one A and a B+, I almost had straight A's! haha! I also got forms from my teachers on buying the All Night Grad tickets as well as purchasing a brick. I know, it sounds weird, but get this. By my school's football stadium we have two galloping stallion statues because that's our mascot, and there going to lay bricks all around it, you can purchase one that will have your name and grad year engraved in it. That means that 20,30 years from now I'd still have my name in the ground by the football stadium. I just think that's so cool! haha! I'm definitely getting one!

Snow Day 11

Yeah, today is the eleventh day that I've had off of school! While yes, it's nice...I kinda wanna go back because at least school takes up time! haha! There is school tomorrow though! It's going to be a two hour delay which will be a nice transition back into the school routine. But other than all of the snow I haven't been doing much, just a lot of down time. I did start reading The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, I've been meaning to read it for a long time but never get the chance because I always have something that I need to read for school. I love it so far! Okay, well I'm gonna go read and enjoy my last few hours before school kicks back in!

An Entire Week Off!

We have officially gotten the entire week off of school! Which is awesome!...but at the same time means that when we get back next week all of my classes are going to be going full throttle! The AP exams are early May and both of my AP teachers are starting to freak out because that is only a few months away! I'm just hoping that things don't get too hectic because I'm still counting on a chill second semester of senior year! haha! It is really nice to get this whole week off though! Especially because I didn't really have much homework to do, so it was a lot of down time to relax and get some reading done! The snow is mostly cleared on the roads, so my mom and I are going to try and go out today!

Snow Snow Snow!

This is the craziest winter in about 90 years! And I'm not just saying that, it's been officially reported by the news! I haven't gotten snow like this since I was in Colorado as a kid! Two feet! It was insane! And it's taken days to snowplow the major roads...yeah, that means that some roads still have snow on them! It's also the first time that I've seen bobcats on the road to remove the snow instead of the regular snowplows, which I guess aren't strong enough this time! But what a nice way to start my second semester of my senior year!! I'm also putting together a vlog right now! So look forward to that by the end of the week!

Accepted to UMD!

I got my acceptance letter to the university of maryland! The only difference is that I wasn't accepted into the fall semester because they said they were full, so they accepted me into their spring semester. My mom explained to me that this gives me more options because I could always go to a different school for the first semester and then transfer there in the spring if I wanted to. But I don't really want to go to the University of Maryland anyways...it's just nice to have gotten accepted to 4 out of the 8 schools I've applied to so far! I still have four to hear back from! So exciting!

No School Wednesday!

Another snow day! We got about three inches of snow on Tuesday night and school was canceled on Wednesday! Normally, that seems like it would be excited except for the fact that I couldn't leave my house, I was home alone, and because this was our fourth snow day, they took away our presidents day. Which means that on February 15th, I'll be in school. Better yet--a snow storm is supposed to hit tomorrow and go through Saturday giving us about two feet of snow! TWO FEET! I'm so tired of all of the snow! haha! anddd...were supposed to get hit again with snow next Tuesday which means that I might not have any school at all next week. But missing that much school might mean that the county adds days onto the end of the year! That would suck so much if I had to come back to school after I graduate! haha! So I guess we just have to wait and see how the weather goes!

Half Way Done!

Tomorrow is the last day of the semester! I can't believe it! I'm halfway done with senior year! It's really going by WAY too fast! haha! I didn't believe people when they told me that it was going to be like that...so for future seniors, trust me, it goes by fast! haha! I only had one midterm in my statistics class and it wasn't very hard! And besides that, school is really chilling out now! Already! haha! I barely ever have very much homework...usually just something for one class like a worksheet or packet. Its so relaxing! The only thing that sucks right now is that I'm still sick and have been sick for a long time! So I'm probably going to go to the doctors this Friday or this coming week...I have to wait for my mom to come home from her business trip and see if she'd be able to take me! Well, I'm gonna go for now because I've gotta run by Barnes and Noble to pick up the next book we're reading in AP Lit! Bye!

This past Saturday I went lasertagging with Ashley and Ped! It was so much fun! But I realized the next morning, that I'm not completely over being sick and being out late like that really took a toll on me. I felt really sick on Sunday and all I wanted to do was sleep! I went out with my mom for a couple of hours but then ended up sleeping from 3-6...and when I woke up I was still tired but didn't want to be by myself anymore haha! I feel a lot better today but still really tired..like all I want to do is sleep! My mom is probably going to take me by the doctors and make sure that I don't have anything serious..but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be okay. haha! But on another note, my decision comes back from UMD this week..its nice to not even be nervous about it because it's not really a school that I want to go to..I'm just curious to see if I'll get in. haha!

Chill Day

It feels good for it already to be Wednesday because it feels like its Tuesday! I can't wait for this week to be over though because I have a hair appointment this Saturday and I need one so bad! My hair has grown way to much, I'm not able to style it anymore! :( Also, I'm trying to get my friends together to go out lasertagging Saturday night! It seems random but we've gone before and it was so much fun, I'm dying to go out and just goof off! haha! But besides that, everything else is pretty chill right now. It's been officially over 6 months since I've had a boyfriend, which is kind of depressing because it's the longest I've gone in a long time...ha. And I'm expecting my decision from UMD ether this week or next week! Okay, well I gotta go.

4 Day Week!

Thankfully because we had Monday off this week is only a four day week! That's a lot easier to handle! haha! Again, today I had to meet up with my anatomy and stat teachers to catch up on what I missed when I was sick towards the end of last week...which wasn't so bad because I really didn't miss much! My best friend just got accepted to UNC Wilmington today! So, shout out to Ashley! CONGRATS! :) haha! It's so exciting to see everybody start to get accepted now, but I've realized that this is where the second half of the stress sets in because now I have to decide where I want to go! Unlike many of my friends, I don't have one school that I fell in love with and is my first choice...which makes things a lot harder! :/
