I think I'm going crazy! I want to hear back from UMW!! It should be any day now and the apprehension is driving me crazy! I'm trying to stay distracted by getting all of my work done for school, and going to the gym because I really need to get fit again! Now that it's warm I'm able to go back up to Burke Lake and starting running outside which is really nice and will make a big differance!
Today is deadline for the March issue of the school newspaper so I'm staying after school right now to get my page finished up! Thankfully, this issue we started our pages weeks ago so we really don't have that much work to do! When I'm done with this I'm going to go straigh home and start working on my AP Gov thesis paper outline because I have to get it done today! It shouldn't take THAT long but I do need to work on it. And my mom is home early today so she wants to go to the gym, and I really want to to so I'm pretty packed this afternoon/night! haha! I gotta go so that I can get everything done and be on my way!
It's Wednesday, which basically means that the rest of the week will go by fast! That's usually how it works atleast! lol But today I have to stay after for French Honor Society Meeting as well as for my Stastics teacher to finish up a class project. (Just about the most confusing project on the face of the planet!) Then when I FINALLY get out of school, I'm going to go by Barnes and Noble to drop off my job application. I really need to get a job so that I can save up enough money for my beach trip this summer! I have enough money for my share of the hotel but I still need to save up money for spending money while I'm there as well as food money! It's a good thing that I still have a few more months! I hope I get the job at B&N!
So this morning, everything seemed normal...my alarm woke me up at 5:30 a.m. and I pushed the snooze a couple of times over the next ten minutes. Next thing I know I had fallen completely asleep again, into a deep sleep and into a full on dream. My dream was that I was at Mary Washington for orientation, and all of my best friends were there. Basically, to make a long story short, I found out at midnight that I was supposed to spend the night and go home the next night and I really wanted to do was go home because I was getting really home sick! Then I find out that there is a game going out outside for everyone to get know eachother, and I didn't want to play so I found a group of my friends that were sitting off to the side and they were crying because they wanted to go home, so I started to cry to and then I woke up...realizing that I had woken up half an hour late. I got ready as fast as I could, luckily my first period was in the last trailer, closest to my car. I left my house ten minutes before school starts at 7:30 and got into class at about 7:29. Oh, then as soon as I sat down in my seat, I found out that I had to take a government test that I had completely forgotten about and that I was supposed to have sold an ad for journalism and I haven't been able to yet. Talk about a bad start to a week. :(
Okay, so it's not exactly charity...but a couple of my friends and I are going up to a church in Mclean that holds this thing on Fridays where parents can drop off their kids for a few hours so that they can spend some time alone. My friends and I are volunteering to basically babysit the kids. I'm excited, I think it should be pretty fun!
Today because all of the seniors got to come in late, Ashley and I went to starbucks for breakfast before school! Then when we finally got into the auditorium for the senior meeting we had to find where our name amongst all the seats in the auditorium! It was just about impossible for me to find my name and then when I finally did, I realized that for graduation...I'll be sitting in between two guys that I don't know at all! So exciting right? haha. But then today after school I went by Aerie to get a job application because I figured I'd go ahead and get a job since I really need money and I have a lot of spare time now that senior year has chilled out! I'm going to go back by the mall tomorrow after my dentist appointment and turn it in! I hope I get the job!!
One step closer to Spring and I can NOT wait! I'm dying for it to get warm outside so that I can start to wear shorts and sun dresses again! As far as the second semester of my senior year, it's going good! My AP Gov teacher told my class this morning that we need to be careful about our second semester grades because colleges that you've been accepted into will recall their decision even if you did good all year but are doing bad in the 3rd or 4th quarter! I'm not really worried about it though because even though I've definitely been hit with senioritis, I'm still focused on all of my school work because I can't stand to get bad grades!
This has been one of the longest weeks of my entire life! haha! It probably felt so long because it's the first five-day week that we've had in just about over a month! I literally thought that it would never end! Today after school I'm meeting with my anatomy project group so that we can edit our video and then my mom is coming home early from work to take me by Marlowe Ink. I'm going back because I need to get more H2Ocean and I'm kind of worried about my bellybutton because it started to heal and then it got really soar again and it's really red I'm going to get the piercers opinion on what I should do and if it's okay. I really hope it is because I want it so bad! Then, tonight I'm going out with my best friends, Lindsay and Lauren to see Shutter Island! I'm so excited! haha! It's supposed to be really good and I haven't seen a scary movie in theaters in a long time! Then we might have a sleepover afterwords but I'm not sure. Tomorrow my mom and I are taking our usual trip up to Maryland for our haircuts and I think I'm going to go back blonde because although I've loved being brunette, I'm starting to not really feel like myself so I'm gonna go back to my original hair color! Okay, I gotta go! Have a great Friday!
My week quickly got crammed this week! I was not expecting for everything I needed to do to collide! haha! On top of having to finish a six page anatomy packet and read a 100 pages of 1984 for AP Lit, I have to meet after school today with my Anatomy project group so that we can film for our project. We have to make a video that creatively talks about all of the negative affects of cocaine on the human body. It's a lot of work for a small project! haha! I Also have to try and sell three ads for the school newspaper by Friday as well as get my belly button checked at Marlowe Ink (where I got it pierced) because it has started to get irritated and I'm really stressing out about it! Ah! I just want this week to be over already!
This past Saturday I went to a John Mayer concert...it was probably one of the best moments of my entire life. The concert was absolutely amazing! He is my favorite artist and I was dying to see him live! He was so breath taking! His performance was perfect and so much better than anything he has recorded! I loved it so much! Besides that, I'm already halfway done with my anatomy project that's due in May! haha! and next week I have two senior meetings..so next week is going to be so chill! haha! Seriously, senior year is great now! Also, all of my plans with my friends are finalizing for beach week! We're all going down to Myrtle beach for a week right after graduation! It's going to be so awesome!
