Prosthetics
Prosthetics is making a device to replace an amputated, missing limb. Prosthetists can be expected to build the pieces from scratch for a number of different body parts.
Hours: Typical 40 hour work week
Opportunities: Hospital, small businesses, large corporation
Pay: Entry level $35,000 annually.
Training: Bachelor's degree, 1 year of residency, additional year for the board exam
